- What for? A discreet sale, an occupied place (by its occupants, by customers), one specific client, work in progress: the tour exists, but only opens with your code.
- In the tour, “Publier” step (publish), “Qui peut voir la visite ?” (who can see the tour?): choose “Avec un code” (with a code). For a page: “Réglages” tab (settings).
- Type a code of 4 to 12 letters or digits (upper or lower case: it doesn’t matter), then “Protéger avec ce code” (protect with this code). Write it down: Fare360 never shows it again.
- Send the link as usual (WhatsApp, email…), and give the code yourself, in the same message or separately.
- Your visitor opens the link: a “Cette visite est protégée” page (this tour is protected) asks for the code. Nothing of the tour is shown before the right code. After 20 wrong attempts, access is blocked for 5 minutes.
- To change the code, type the new one and “Changer le code” (change the code): the old one stops working. To open it to everyone, choose “Publique” (public) or “Par lien uniquement” (link only).
A tour with a code doesn’t appear on your page, on the map or on Google. The photos stay stored at a public address, but one that’s hard to guess: for absolute secrecy, don’t put the tour online.
